MAJLIS APRESIASI 2023/2024- My Graduation and Separation

Assalamualaikum, everyone! I'm Qamar, the older sister of Tariq!

On 4th of February, Sunday, it's the day of Majlis Apresiasi SRIBEST 2023/2024! The event takes place at Dewan Besar LKIM. So the Year 6 students, including me, has to arrive at the hall very early because we have to prepare for the convocation with the VIPs soon. So I arrived there at around 8 a.m.

After I arrived, the attendance check hasn't started yet so, I went inside to go search for my friends that have already arrived earlier than me. I was welcomed by some of my friends, Syahnaz, Iffah, Ifti and Ayuni. They were dressed like members of the royal family. Haha! But I am part of the choral speaking so I wore what our Teacher told us to for the performance later: Black baju kurung and golden or yellow hijab. That's what girls have to wear. Tariq is also part of the choral speaking.

So, the event had finally begun. First, all Year 6 students attends the convocation with the VIPs, like how I said earlier. Then, it's time for us to receive awards as graduating students, who were going to leave SRIBEST.

There were many other performances such as "Dikir Barat", "Choir from Year 5 Students", "Choral Speaking" and more. As for the choral speaking, everyone did great! We were satisfied by our performance.

After the choral speaking, the award ceremony continues. I received a total of 6 awards! Alhamdulillah. I also earned the title as one of the best school prefects in the semester. After all of the ceremonies have been finally finished, It is time... for the final choir performance... by us, Year 6 batch of 2023/2024... that everyone has been waiting for.

The Year 6 girls are going to get onto the stage from the right side, while the boys from the left side. Our conductor was Ustazah Asyikien. The choir begins and we start to sing the songs for our separation that we have been practicing and rehearsing for weeks. The first song was "Sahabat" by Najwa Latif, then it was cut and continued with the next song titled "Tentang Bulan" by Fatin Nur Afifah. At that point I already started to hear some of my friends crying beside me, behind me and in front of me. And finally, the last song for our separation, "Selamat Tinggal Kawan" from Didi and Friends. And my friends starts to cry and sob even louder. Even more of my friends starts crying too. At the end of the song, "Semoga kita akan berjumpa di lain masa." We walked down the front stairs of the stage and all of the teachers were lining up on the side of the path. Ustazah lined on the girls side and Ustaz lined on the boys'.

We handed the teachers a flower for each person and tears were building up in everyone's eyes, we all hugged the teachers and they gave advice to their beloved students while crying in each other arms, for the last time. I took many pictures with my beloved friends and teachers. I held all my tears in and I just smiled! "Hanya memori yang indah sahaja."

Thank you, my teachers, all Ustaz and Ustazah, for teaching us with patience and love for us. And thank you for always have been by our side since the first day we were in SRIBEST Lestari Perdana. Thank you for educating with us. You're the best teachers I've ever had. I LOVE ALL OF YOU!

Thank you to my friends to have always stayed by my side and be loyal to me. You all are the best friends I have ever had in my entire life so far. I once almost teared up when you guys actually care about me and my emotions. Some of you even noticed whenever I looked down or sad. You would ask me if I was okay. Thanks guys! I LOVE YALL

Even if we were to be separated,

I will always believe and hope that we will meet again,

One day.

Until our paths will cross again,

I will try my best protect that future.

Until we meet again, my dear friends and teachers!

I will never forget any of you guys.
Don't be sad. If we were not going to meet again in Dunia, then we will be reunited in Paradise/Jannah, InsyaAllah.

Roger and out, Assalamualaikum!

Qamarina
