School Holidays 2023/2024

Alhamdulillah, pada 11/2/2024 kita sekeluarga telah pulang ke kampung untuk menziarahi keluarga kita di sana. Dalam perjalanan balik, kita telah singgah di Cameron Highland uituk menikmati cuaca sjeik dan juadah scones bersama jem stroberi dan krim putar yang lazat di puncak bukit.   

MAJLIS APRESIASI 2023/2024- My Graduation and Separation

 Assalamualaikum, everyone! I'm Qamar, the older sister of Tariq!  On 4th of February, Sunday, it's the day of Majlis Apresiasi SRIBEST 2023/2024! The event takes place at Dewan Besar LKIM. So the Year 6 students, including me, has to arrive at the hall very early because we have to prepare for the convocation with the VIPs soon. So I arrived there at around 8 a.m. After I arrived, the attendance check hasn't started yet so, I went inside to go search for my friends that have already arrived earlier than me. I was welcomed by some of my friends, Syahnaz, Iffah, Ifti and Ayuni. They were dressed like members of the royal family. Haha! But I am part of the choral speaking so I wore what our Teacher told us to for the performance later: Black baju kurung and golden or yellow hijab. That's what girls have to wear. The passing of Mak, my grandma from mom's side.

My oldest sister told everyone in the siblings' WhatsApp group that Mak was sick on Friday, February 2nd. She had been staying at Ucu's house since Tuesday, when Mak Long had to leave her there in Ucu's care because she had to go somewhere for a kenduri, and it happened suddenly. Later on at her place, I found out this indirectly. Mak became ill and was taken back to Mak Long's residence. She refused food and liquids, which made her condition worse.  Mak Long took her to a clinic on Friday night, where she received an IV drip. She was diagnosed with fluid in her lung at that time. And then they took her home. My sister, Kak Na, and I had already made plans to visit Mak in the south. I had to acknowledge that, deep down, I was already feeling incredibly bad about not seeing her more often. Our bond goes way back to when I studied in UTM.
